The Cisco IP Phone 8851 with multiplatform (3PCC) firmware is a five-line Gigabit SIP phone for Webex Calling, BroadWorks and other third-party SIP platforms, with a 5-inch 800 x 480 color display, Bluetooth, a USB port and support for up to two key expansion modules.

Before you buy
- Multiplatform firmware does not register to Cisco Unified CM; for CUCM choose the CP-8851-K9.
- Hosted providers decide which phones they will provision; confirm this model is on your provider's list.
- One key expansion module works on standard PoE; two modules need 802.3at PoE or a Power Cube 4 (older 8851 hardware needs the Power Cube 4).
