The ShoreTel IP 485g is the highest-end desk phone in ShoreTel's 400 series: eight lines, a backlit color display and Gigabit Ethernet, for managers and power users on ShoreTel and Mitel Connect systems.

Before you buy
- Runs ShoreTel's SIP firmware and is provisioned by a ShoreTel / Mitel Connect system; it is not sold as a general third-party SIP phone.
- Needs ShoreTel 14.2 or later (or Mitel Connect); earlier ShoreTel releases do not support 400-series phones.
- Runs on 802.3af PoE; if your network switch has no PoE, add a ShoreTel power adapter or a PoE injector.
