The Avaya IP500 Legacy Card Carrier is a base card that lets an IP500 or IP500 V2 control unit reuse IP400 trunk cards and IP400 VCM modules from an older IP Office system.

Before you buy
- Avaya lists the carrier only up to IP Office 9.0; later releases need IP500 trunk daughter cards and VCM base cards.
- IP400 VCM 5, 10 and 20 modules, the original ATM4 and other cards not on Avaya's list aren't supported in the carrier.
- G.722 audio isn't available on a system with an IP400 VCM fitted.
